The EMY Method:
Built on 3 Pillars
Strength
A strong body supports a strong mind. In my approach, strength is not just about building muscles—it’s about functional, practical, and sustainable power, both physically and mentally. Every class is designed to cultivate strength that helps you build lasting habits, not just on the mat, but in your everyday life. It’s about creating a foundation of self-compassion and self-love that carries into how you treat yourself daily. My strength-based, mindful movement workouts come from personal experience—when I first started yoga, I lacked the strength to fully participate in traditional classes. No one taught me how to build the strength needed for poses like Chaturanga, Boat Pose, or Warrior III. That’s why my Strength & Sculpt classes are designed to build not only strength for daily life but also to enhance and protect your body in your yoga practice. Together, we’ll build the strongest version of you.
Intention
Through mindful, purposeful movement, with a focus on breath and body awareness, we’ll nurture a deep connection between mind and body. This transforms your practice from a simple workout to a "work-in"—a space to honor your body and reconnect with yourself. By moving with intention, you’ll cultivate self-awareness, self-care, and a practice that truly serves you.
Grounding
Whether it’s a dynamic Power Flow or a strength-based workout with weights, my classes are always gentle on your joints. You won’t find any extreme arm balances or pretzel-like poses here—because those movements aren’t realistic or sustainable for everyday life. My classes are designed to be both accessible and enjoyable, allowing you to challenge your body without strain or stress. Through creative transitions, I help calm and ground your mind while gently challenging your body, turning your practice into a meditative experience that fosters self-soothing and regulation.
